Rashes and skin allergy
Unexplained rashes, hives and suspected skin allergies, including contact allergy.
Rashes have many causes, including eczema, contact allergy, infections, reactions to medicines and conditions such as urticaria (hives). Some are short-lived; others recur and need a clear diagnosis.
Allergic contact dermatitis is a reaction to something touching the skin, such as fragrances, preservatives, hair dye, metals or rubber. Identifying the cause can make a lasting difference.
