This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not ask you to log in. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that count page views without identifying you. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages securely.
When you contact us or book
- Email: if you email us, we use your message and contact details to reply and, where relevant, to arrange your care.
- Online consultations are booked through TidyCal, and face-to-face appointments are booked directly with Spire Nottingham or Nottingham Road Clinic. Each of these organisations handles the information you give them under its own privacy policy.
Mole Check / Rash Review and the patient app
When you use the SkinHealth.Clinic patient app, we collect the information needed to provide your care: your name and contact details, date of birth, medical history and answers to clinical questions, photographs of your skin, and records of your consultation and any prescription or letter. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
We process this health information to provide medical care (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) contract, and Article 9(2)(h) health care). Patient data is stored securely in the United Kingdom (Google Cloud, London region), encrypted in transit and at rest, and is only accessible to the clinicians and staff involved in your care.
We share information only where needed for your care or where the law requires it: for example with your GP (with your consent), a pharmacy dispensing a prescription, or your health insurer if you are using insurance.
How long we keep information
Medical records are kept in line with UK professional guidance on health records retention. Records for adults are typically kept for 8 years after the last contact, and children's records until their 25th birthday (or 26th if they were 17 at the end of treatment), or longer where clinically necessary.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and in some circumstances to ask us to delete or restrict it, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@skinhealth.clinic. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
